Chris Henry Accreditation Level 2

​Back to Bruges for the Level 2 course, as one of seven, hand-picked, level 1 coaches from around the world. As well as two other coaches from the UK, there were representatives from Belgium, India and Singapore. 

 

As you would expect from a course aimed at coaching high level, elite, players, there was a forensic level of detail involved, with topics such as:

          -     Stance/technique

          -     Cue ball physics

          -     The Balls

          -     Coach/player relationship

          -     Performance psychology, beliefs, habits

Many myths surrounding traditional coaching methods and theories were debunked, this is coaching at the next level.

​​

There was also the opportunity to gain some fascinating insights into coaching at the very highest level, as well as the mindset of top players.

​

There was a tough exam which included coaching demonstrations, online questions, and video analysis, but I passed to become one of only seven Chris Henry Level 2 Elite Coaches around the world, and three based in the UK.
